After graduating from Cornell University in 1998 with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies, I attended the University of Virginia’s Curry School of Education, earning a masters degree in special education focused on learning disabilities and emotional disturbances.
Having taught in many locations including New York City, London, and Virginia, I chose to move to Boston, MA. I have experience working in both private and public schools, in residential and day schools, in special education and general education classrooms, and as a private tutor. Additionally, I have worked with students at all grade levels, and with a variety of academic needs.
My passion is working with students for whom school has not been a successful experience. I enjoy helping students identify and develop their strengths, and watching their confidence and joy of learning grow.
