I offer flexible, customized and supportive instruction designed to meet the unique needs and skills of my clients. Here is a sampling of the services I offer:

ACADEMIC SUPPORT:

• For students working either at grade level, or significantly below grade level
• Ideal as a general support of the classroom curriculum, or to focus on specific areas of difficulty

READING INSTRUCTION:

• Targeted instruction for all ages and abilities, including English as a Second Language.
• Includes phonics, fluency and reading comprehension instruction
• Teaches strategies for a variety of genre and purposes

ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS:

• For students at or above grade level who need to interact with material in a more meaningful and stimulating way

SPECIAL EDUCATION:

• Focused on learning disabilities as well as attention and behavioral problems
• Support for students working in the regular education classroom, or modified curriculum for those in special education settings
• All grade levels and abilities

TEST PREPARATION:

• Comprehensive and individualized MCAS and ISEE preparation
• Instruction in study and organizational skills, test taking strategies and note taking

HOMEWORK ASSISTANCE:

• Short-term or long-term assignments
• Projects, research reports, term papers and science fair projects

ADDITIONAL SUPPORT:

• Available to attend IEP meetings and school conferences
• Can coordinate with schools and teachers
